Information for our disabled visitors
Taunton Flower Show encourages disabled visitors.
Access
There is level access to the entire park. There is a hard-surfaced pavement around the park. However, the greater proportion of the show is on closely mown grass. There are disabled toilet facilities around the park.
In the event of prolonged rain, some of the park may become muddy or the grass may be slippery.
Parking
Taunton Deane Cricket Club organises parking for the general public on its cricket pitch along Ash Meadow which has level access to the park. However, it should be noted that the Cricket Club levies a charge for this facility.
Admission
Disabled visitors are admitted to the show at the concessionary rate. If you require a carer, then the carer will be admitted FREE. Here are details of admission prices and opening times.
Assistance Dogs
Whilst dogs are NOT admitted to the showground, this ruling does not apply to assistance dogs which are admitted to the show.
Mobility Scooters
Mobility scooters are available from the Taunton Shopmobility centre. This is based on the first floor of Old Market Shoppers Multi-storey Car Park. There is direct access from the Old Market Centre via lifts. The centre is open 9.15am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
