Welcome to Taunton Flower Show
About the show
Taunton Flower Show is the premiere event of its type in the south-west and is a firm part of summer calendar in Taunton. Held in the centre of Somerset's county town in the historic Vivary Park, the show is not only a traditional British flower show but includes attractions for the whole family. From exciting arena events to the the spectacular floral marquee, the absorbing child's play area and Chelsea-style designer gardens, the show appeals to all ages. Details of the main attractions can be found on the various pages on this site.Admission and Membership
Taunton Flower Show opens its gates to visitors from far and wide. Tickets can be bought in advance at a 10% discount from our secure on-line ticket shop. Many of our visitors become members of the show which brings considerable benefits including early 10am admission on the first day of the show and unlimited free admission on both days. More details of membership can be found on our membership pages.Volunteering and stewarding
The show could not be run without the help of our many volunteer stewards and helpers. We are always looking for new stewards to help in a wide variety of different roles. This is an ideal way to become more involved with the show and become part of a highly motivated and enthusiastic team. For details of volunteering, please see more information here.Competition Classes
Perhaps the core of the show is the competitive marquee which has been a feature of the show since 1866. A wide range of classes for home-grown fruit, vegetables and flowers as well as crafts, photography cookery, wine and a whole range of classes for young people are available. More than 2000 exhibits go to make up a wonderful display of the talents of the local (and not so local!) members of the public. More about the competitive classes...Keeping you up to date
